One of the things I love playing with in my writing is how what we wish for versus what we get is pretty much never the same.  Even my romances end slightly differently to ‘the norm’. It’s not to say that there’s not a happily ever after, just…more that I’ve got a specific idea of what happy looks like, realistically.  Why shouldn’t I?  I’ve been given a dream life (right now, while writing this, as I’m a bit under the weather, me and the cat are on my four poster bed.  Eiryss says ‘go ‘way!’.  I settle down every night in the arms of the man I love and who loves me, in a lovely house, with beautiful things.  It makes me happy, but it’s not the ‘this is perfect’ because my perfect isn’t everyone else’s.)

So, I’m kinda inspired by seeing the perfect, and how you could be close to that, and still be looking for that little bit more, but still be happy.

I’m also wary of wishes though.

To wish for something, especially if you look at it from the point of view of gratitude (which is where my stories try to aim towards), you’re saying you’re not happy with stuff, maybe.  So instead of wishing, or visiualising, I just, kind of…invite things into my world. Wishes though – I have only one.

I wish I could stay pregnant.

We are coming to the end of the AtoZ, so I’d love to hear from people that are reading along. :). What do you think of my posts.  Have you looked at the most important one I’ve written (in my view at least?)
