Well…that was a bit longer than I meant it to be. Sorry about that.
I went offline in July to try and get a bit of clarity on how to plan and merge down everything and while that project is still in progress…no, actually, is still in the beginning phases, I have good reason for it.
A year ago this week, I was diagnosed as having issues with B12, foliate (which is important if you’re still trying to extend your family, which we are, but actually, is an important thing for memory, and nerve and muscle connectivity and all sorts of other stuff. It’s another B vitamin (B9), so is important in a couple of ways, but most people think of folic acid and think ‘pregnancy age’. Which is why it’s extra important to us) and iron. I was given an iron infusion fairly quickly , which I’m grateful for, but after a year of trying oral supplements for B12, I’d been sliding into worse by July, and so, in August, I kinda gave in for a bit. We talked to my GP in September, and I’m happy to say that I’m now rapidly getting better, as they’ve started me on loading doses for B12. It’s not the easiest process, but it’s hopefully going to be worth it.
I have to also go for another infusion, which is at least eight months early, but, again, I’ve been struggling lately, so maybe it’ll be the last one.
After my B12 loading doses, I need to start taking folic acid again, because you can’t loading dose on that.
Beyond that?
I’ve had a lot of fun with LudoSport. It’s been a good year for me in the sport. I was, as Luke mentioned on a previous post comment, nominated as Best Initizata for the year, and I’ve passed my Form 2, though it’s not a form I feel I really understand or really…find easy. And that’s the thing about LudoSport – we get various forms to learn, and adapt to our own style, and I love Form 1, I’m falling in love with Form 3 (Dual daggers is so much fun!) but…Form 2 has some interesting basis movement and concepts, but I’m not sure that I’m going to take anything more from it than that. And honestly? That’s fine! I know some people that are absolutely brilliant with Form 2 and are a joy to watch, but me? No. So I’m glad I passed.
And I’ve done a little bit of Form 3, and as predicted, I quite enjoy it. It’s a lot of fun, but also a lot to think about.
Books and site wise….that’s another post.
Artenapan has been a star, and now is in Uni, after scoring three Distinctions for her year Three. Titanboi is looking at Uni options too, but might need a few more A-Levels first, so he’s weighing options. Tempus is teaching LudoSport Form 1 locally, and he and I have been on a fair few adventures this summer. Lots of good food and good experiences to keep me going. I’m so very lucky.
I’ve got so much to catch people up on, but I wanted to wave and say hi now that the blog is back online. New theme too, which was fun to work on, though it’s an interim one till I finish working out how everything is combining down.
There may be a few spoilers in here, but….life is all about having fun, right? ๐ Also, my handwriting is terrible!
But…that’s all the books that have domain names so far that I’m willing to own up to. Some domains are now gone, I let them go.
There is also two sites, listed at the far left that aren’t mine. One is P&E, the other, Authorbeware. They’re feeding into my site, I write for them when I’m better, but they’re not mine, before anyone jumps on me. ๐

Next actual post from me though, will be about NaNoWriMo, which is rapidly approaching and I have plans for. You can insert evil laughter here if you like.
It’s good to be back ๐
