This entry is part 4 of 22 in the series AtoZ 2023 - The AtoZ of Me

I always find it amazing that I’ve never actually made a full list of my blogs to store in my sidebars, so today’s post, of course, is going to be B for blogging.

I’ve been blogging since…2002, on and off. I started on Livejournal, and moved onto other places, and in 2004, I was on B2Evolution, moved to WordPress, and then the rest, I guess is history. I’ve been blogging and teaching people to blog ever since too.

Main blogs

Kaiberie (this one) – this is my catchall blog, and the second oldest one on my list. It’s a year younger than Bi-polarbears, which I founded in 2003.
BooksByKai.com – I mostly talk books and research there, though it also houses my main newsletter.

Where I (occasionally) write

Indie Author Group – as a co-founder, I also built the blog for the site

HorrorTree – I’m a blogger and I maintain the hosting there

Ladies of Horror – I join in on the monthly challenges occasionally

Blog Beats AI – content written with the same ‘prompts’ as AI. People vote on whether it’s AI or ours, then we reveal who wrote it.

Starting or restarting soon

Bi-polarbears – it was 20 last month. As in 20 years old. My very first blog. :). I’ll be rebooting it soon. Mental health based, it was origionally to talk bipolar disorder, but I’m pivoting it into talking about mental health.

PrePrepPubPromocoming soon, an advice site for writers. StuffWritersNeed and other sites will be merging down too!

CianlasBooks – My overall writing and publishing project, it and KushkaPress are my two main book imprints

CrimeBinger – my blog for all things true crime, relaunching mid-month

Digital Steward – I’ll be blogging and writing there as well as teaching

Kaigest – one standard place to keep up with me. It’ll be my syndication, and everything else.

I also host and teach people how to use WordPress, and design and maintain blogs. If you’d like to talk to me about it, drop me a line! Branding is an absolute must in today’s online world, especially for authors, and those that use the online world to promote themselves or the items they’re selling.

I’m not doing blog posts on all of them, but I’m happy to have them all!
Looking forward to your posts too!

Wow, that is a lot to maintain. I only got one blog, but I do maintain several FB groups – which is like doing a blog, after a fashion. Still, great job!

I’ve been running them for 20 years in some cases…they’re like bunnies and multiply 🙂

P is for Psychosis #realmentalhealth #mondayblogs #nomorestigma

This is one of my harder blog posts to write, because though I talk – a lot – about the impact my mental health has on my day to day life, and has done for a while, I’m pretty sure that this is the bit no one really understands, causes the most…misunderstanding and I hope, because I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, they can’t relate to. If you didn’t know that psychosis was a feature of my mental health diagnosis, or didn’t understand if you’d heard it mentioned before now, please…don’t start changing your opinion of me. That’s the biggest reason those of us with serious mental health issues aren’t as open as society needs. Because we lose people.
