And to the last set of writers I thought I’d give some advice to. Bloggers are some of the most diverse of all writers – they come from all walks of the writing life, and work well with just about anything.
Evernote – again?
I hate to say it, but Evernote is about essential for every writer out there. It’s critical to understand that Evernote is as flexibile as any piece of software you’ll ever find. And as a blogger you never know when inspiration will strike.
You might also want a mobile blogging platform, or to configure your blog to accept emails – but whatever you do, you should make your blogging as easy to achieve as possible. Blogging is often more spontaneous and informal than other styles of writing, so you should make the most of it and go for it whenever you can.
I recommend WordPress as a platform – the plugins alone are well worth the time – but all in all, you have to find something that works for you.
